Search WeChat official account articles by account

To see what a specific WeChat official account has published, work in three steps: find the account by name or keyword and take its mp_id, list its past articles with that mp_id, then read the engagement numbers for one article from its link. Every step below is a real endpoint with real parameters.

A new account gets 50 trial calls; after that, successful calls are billed from a prepaid balance. See pricing.

Look into one account's articles in three calls

Replace 央视新闻 in the examples with the account you are looking for. The mp_id in step 2 is a placeholder: use the mp_id returned by step 1. You need an API key, and a new account has 50 trial calls.

  1. Find the account by name

    Search by the account's name or a keyword; each result carries its mp_id. kind picks the account type: subscription (the default), service, or all, which merges both without duplicates. The later steps all need the mp_id returned here.

      -H "Authorization: Bearer $QOVIA_KEY"
    Python
    import os
    import requests

    resp = requests.get(
        "https://api.qovia.ai/v1/raw/wechat/account_search",
        params={"keyword": "央视新闻"},
        headers={"Authorization": f"Bearer {os.environ['QOVIA_KEY']}"},
        timeout=30,
    )
    resp.raise_for_status()
    body = resp.json()
    print(body["meta"]["charged_usd"], body["data"])

    The data in the response. The sample comes from the endpoint catalog, not live data; lists are cut to their first two entries and picture links are left out:

  2. List the account's past articles

    mp_id starts with gh_ or wxid_ and must be the value returned by the previous step; gh_example in the example is only a placeholder. Omit cursor for the first page, and pass back the cursor from the previous page to turn pages.

FAQ

Where does mp_id come from?

From the results of account search (raw.wechat.account_search). It starts with gh_ or wxid_, and the article-list endpoint accepts only that format.

Can I search the text of articles?

The approach on this page is to find the account first, then look at what it has published. To find articles by keyword across accounts, use the cross-platform search (search), whose sources include WeChat official accounts.

What about WeChat Channels (视频号)?

Yes. Channels search (raw.wechat.channel_search) finds Channels accounts by name or keyword; it is listed under more endpoints on this page.

How is it billed?

A new account gets 50 trial calls; after that, calls are billed from a prepaid balance, and only successful calls that return data are charged. Empty results and errors are not, and meta.charged_usd in each response says what the call cost. Each endpoint's price is in the API reference, and the plans are on the pricing page.

Your agent only knows what you give it

Give it Douyin, Xiaohongshu (RedNote), WeChat and product reviews: structured, per call, nothing charged for failures.
